Sky resort - Mongolia

Has anybody been to this ski resort in Mongolia?

6 hours for snowboard and lift pass is only 31000 Tughrik (£15,$23) during weekdays. It only opened in November 2009 and has 7 trails totalling 6000m in length. It's 13km from Ulanbator.

Haven't heard of it, but for that price there's not much to lose by giving it a go if you're in the area.

Yes, it is a good place to have some good fun in UB.

I did manage to get out to this resort. It was good although if you are an advanced skier or snowboarder then it would not be challenging enough for you. At -30c it was only possible for me to do 2 runs at a time before going indoors to warm up for a bit. The bus to the resort is free but you have to pay to come back.

Anyone have email contact for this resort? Incredibly, they didn't post one on their website. I would like to go skiing there mid Apr 2012, and want to make sure they're still open.

It is not open.

It is not cold here.

It is warm now.

Hey James, have you just been? What's it like? Current prices? Worth a day trip?
