Reliable Travel agents in Kathmandu

We are planning to travel through Tibet in early January. We need a reliable, Kathmandu based, travel agent to use to book our tour and get a permit.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also has anyone organized a trip from Kathmandu through Tibet? If so can you give me a some information as to how long it took in total to organize your trip? Ie getting Visa's, permits, meeting people to share a jeep etc. Did you start to organize your trip in Kathmandu or before you got there on the phone and net?
