soirry again, I read that oyu can only get the visa for nepal in the border if you have us dollars< is it true/?? no yuans?? how much is it?? please tell me soon to take dollaras from sighatyse bank of china.. thank you again!!

| joff100014:30 UTC21 Aug 2007 | A fellow cyclist just bought a 60 day Nepal visa here in Lhasa. The good news is that it starts from day of entry into Nepal, not from day of issue. Also if you are heading for Nepal and the PSB catch you, I think they would be more likely to send you to Nepal than back to Lhasa if you already have the visa. Cheers, Joff

If you turned up at the Nepal border with only Yuan you could definately find a blackmarket guy to change you enough $$ (At a very bad rate mind you!?) Bringing US$ is BEST.
