Last time we were in Lijiang, we did a day tour to an old town about 3hrs drive from Lijiang, heading back towards Qiatou. It was partly inhabited, plus I think there was a theatre and maybe museum. You entered from the "new" town through an archway. Anyone have any ideas the name of it? I didn't write it down and have been curious since.

Not sure. Shuhe? Shitoucheng/Baoshan (not likely)? Shigu? Baisha?

If its any more help, it was one of several tours Dong Ha GH ran. Also, all the buildings in the village were made of dirt which was ochre in colour.
