lhasa to EBC Prices

Hi, next month we are planning the typical trip from Lhasa to EBC and return, over about 4 days. Can anyone give me an idea of the going rate for a Landcruiser 4WD for this return trip? Driver and car price, not guide and other costs.

The price is about RMB4800 for a whole car, 4 travellers + 1 guide allowed.

You should expect to pay y200/day for the tour guide. The driver can go into the Ebc without paying the entrance fee, but not the guide. So you will have to pay for the guide for his entrance fee too, Y180/person. Another Y400 for the land cruiser.

We paid 3700Y for 5 days without a guide. That didnt include fees to EBC, accommodation or food. From <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="mailto:fit0869@hotmail.com">FIT</a> at Banok Shol.

I was referring to Pazu and Westwood above who seem to have rented a 4-WD for reasonable prices before.

Doing search did not give any results with contact numbers that I can call...

Like all things with a contract, read it section by section and pick out anything you either dont understand or want changed before you sign. That way, you'll get exactly what you pay for. If you need a guide, am not sure the going price for one these days.
