Hello everyone.

I will be traveling in Mongolia in mid June and as my wife will be horse trekking there I am looking for some good option to travel on my own in mid June for 12 days. The more I read about it the more I feel drawn to Khovsgol lake and I was wondering if this is a good time in the year for hiking around the lake and maybe learn fishing for the 1st time. How much rain and how much bugs/critters should I expect?

Also I am contemplating Natures door camp as a good option for the independent traveler but there is mixed report about it with horror stories of a women been punched and kicked by the owner and last minute surcharges... is that tourist hysteria or can a stay here be problematic?

Thank you for your help and advices.

Vania
