Don't worry you have more than enough time! Are you planning to rent a car? Because it would be really nice to drive around Hokkaido, but it's pretty hard to drive straight to Kussharo from Hakodate in a day. Even from Hakodate to Sapporo, it takes like 5 hours. Other than that, your itinerary seems ok unless you're not planning to go mountain climbing or something. Salmons spawning season starts around late September. It depends. Good luck!

You are going to be VERY busy, traveling as well as sightseeing. I think if you have the energy and planning, you can do most of those things.

Sapporo events are probably not all going to be possible. You said you are leaving Sapporo at 9am. Just how long do you plan to be at INO's Place? Getting to Otaru and back, Yoichi and back, Niseko and back, etc. will be LONG hauls coupled with sightseeing. Pare things down. The Sapporo itinerary alone is probably worth 3 long days in itself.

It would be safer to be at the airport four hours before the international flight departure. If you are traveling by train from Sapporo to Tokyo, I afraid you may not have sufficient time. If you choose to fly from New Chitose Airport ( Sapporo ) direct to Narita, there are two direct flights by ANA or JAL. One of the flights leaves New Chitose at 0745am and another one in the afternoon. The flying time is 1 hour 30 minutes. There are many flights from New Chitose to Haneda but you need to take a airport bus from Haneda to Narita. You also have to pick up your check-in baggages in Haneda. The road journey may take more than an hour depending on the traffic. For Japan domestic flights, foreigner who has a valid return international air ticket are entitled to good discount.

You may see plenty of salmons in the rivers in Shiretoko/Utoro area. However, the spawning season is in late September and October.

Have a nice trip!

Thanks alot for the information!!

#Sinner, i will be taking the railway from Sapporo to Tokyo. Thus, i guess its impossible to arrive Narita by 18:00?
#M__W, i am also not driving in Hokkaido. Thus, i guess the itinery is pretty packed and impossible with all the travelling right?

Perhaps i should skip Lake Kussharo, cut the travel time and spend more time in Sapporo, stay a night near Mt Yotei & Niseko?
Checkout 1 day earlier and travel to Tokyo the day before my flight?

Really appreciate the comments.. Thanks..
