Hallasan Trails: Can I hike between Witse Oreum and The Summit ?

I read somewhere it was closed last year, wonder if it is open again now ?

If I have time only for one climb, is Witse Oreum worth it ? I will be staying at Seogwik and read that Eorimok trail is more convenient and shorter.

Have anyone been to both the Summit(Baeknokdam Crater) and Witse Oreum ? Like to hear your opinions.
