| hoogerbooger13:59 UTC26 Jul 2007 | Hi
Hoping to be in Lhasa 2nd, 3rd or 4th week august. Preferably last of these. Any other cyclists out there to make up a group for Lhasa to Katmandu ? If so let me know your dates on hooogerbooger@googlemail.com
(FOR INFO: to add to the TTB issue Hong Kong visa office are telling me I may only get 30 day Visa. Anyone know what sort of Visa extension is likely in Cheng Du ? or anywhere else Sichuan way ?

If you're still in Hong Kong, don't go through this TTB office in Hong Kong, just get your normal China visa at the JTA http://www.jta.biz/chinavisa/china_visa.htm</a>, pay only HK$450 for a 6-month visa, then arrange a tour or whatever in Chengdu or Xinning to Lhasa.

got my email wrong it's hoogerbooger&googlemail.com should there be any one looking for a cycling budy.
Am in HK and the have contacted two agents that have been provided as a result to my posts who say 6 month is possible. However as my visa application is already in with the PRC visa agency I may still be scuppered as neither agency were so sure I could get a long visa is I discharged the first by a quick trip to the main land. So may well be Emei shan for me.
So listen and learn anyone else, sounds best to go via an agent with a track record.
