Best way on public transport to visit FAST

So I finally decided that in September I will go to Guizhou again and not to Gansu and not to Nujiang valley.
Right now I plan a route which also includes Luodian because of some beautiful carst scenery. I thought, when in Luodian I also could visit FAST, because on the map it seems to be the closest city to visit FAST (48km instead of 87km from Pingtang). Here's some information about FAST from LP). It is only open since march 2017. Is there anybody who went there already? Ctrip offers a day-tour for 200 Yuan from Guiyang and back (entrance fee of 50 Yuan not included), but I want to include it in my itinerary. And I want to bypass Guiyang, because from my last visit I remember, that there is not much old left, only enough for half a day. Well, it will not be too difficult to go there, but of course some additional info is always welcome.
