Hi,

wanna do a round trip and need your help ;) !

  1. Could you tell me the company which has the best price&performance ratio?
I want to make a Tibet Tour which should start between 20th and 24th of September this year.

  2. What's your tip for Guilin within 2 days and Chengdu within 1 day?
    What you should not miss?

Thanks,
Chris

People can only comment on the company they used. Why not contact several (you should be able to find the names here) and see what they come up with in terms of a tour. If its only you, then expect to pay a premium price. There have been others lately wanting more people to join their trips but you'll need to read further down the page.

You will stay in Chengdu for just one day, so i would suggest you should not miss Sichuan snack foods in Jinli or Wide Narrow Lane.

My partner and I are about to book a trip with Tibet Namchen Tourism Services Co Ltd with Shangrila Tours starting between the 20th and 24th of September, the price dops considerably with another person, from $783 US to $572 US per person with three. Why not consider this trip it's 9 days including Everest Base Camp.

There are so many companies but i would prefer some recommended companies.
It would be really nice if you could tell me your TOP 5 tibet tour operators.

Could you also give me a price range for a 8 day trip from lhasa to EBC back to lhasa all inclusive?
For what price had you booked the trip?

Could you send me the link to the tour?
I don't have a multiple entrance visa and i also would like to be back at Lhasa ;) !

Whose top 5? Top 5 in terms of what?

Most commonly recommended or mentioned on this forum (in alphabetical order) are probably:
Sim's Cozy Garden Hostel in Chengdu
SnowLion
Spinn Cafe
Tibetan Connections
plus also check this thread for Tibet based agencies

if you would like to make price down, u can try to google some key words like "budget tibet tour" or "tibet budget tour".or you can try to join in a group to make price down.

Would you recommend to book the accomodation by your own?
Which hostels could you recommend in Skaya, Gyantse, Shigatse and Lhasa?
Do i have to book also the EBC tent?

We only stayed at hotels in those places, not sure of hostels. No need to book a tent at EBC, plenty of them.
