I'm flying into Shanghai on the 20th of December, and am planning to go to Tibet around December 29th or so. Please let me know if you are interested.
Thinking of traveling to Xian from Shanghai, possibly attempt to go to Huangshan from Xian. Taking the train from Xian to Xining. Lemme know if this sounds interesting.

We, 2 ppl, are also interested to go to Tibet -> Nepal around the same time!
At this moment we are in Yangshuo and we arrive on the 24th in Chengdu. The last day we can leave from Chengdu to Lhasa is 29 December and the last day we can start with the tour is 31 December (train 3 days/ tour 8 days).

we are a couple from the Netherlands and also planning to travel to Lhasa on the 27th of december. At this moment we are in Chengdu trying to get a trip set from Lhasa to Kathmandu. Did you arranged something already? Are you still looking for some travelbuddies?
We would love to go on a trip for around 8 days with 4 or 5 pax in total.

We are a couple also wanting to go into Tibet in late December 2010. We are currently in Chengdu (staying at Traffic Hostel). We are wanting to leave (probably by flying) on the night of the 27th or 28th during the day. Would love to hear if you have booked any dates or tours yet as we are keen to go on a 7 or 8 day trip. We won't be crossing into Nepal however, instead flying/train out of Lhasa to somewhere in China but I have been told that if some people leave out of Nepal and some don't then its not a problem.
