Share Jeep. Kashgar to Ali

I am in Kashgar and am heading to Tibet. I hear a jeep can be procured for about $1000. If I can find three others I'd go that way instead of the bus/Hitch. I am hoping to leave ASAP.

I would also appreciate any up to date advice on buses/jeeps/schedules etc. please eMail or stop by QiniBagh Hotel room #310.
