Im from Malaysia and I will be going Tibet on mid Oct (after china long holiday). Currently I have 2 person(both male) and looking for another 2 person to share the cost. I have asked the quote and this is my itinerary:
Day0 LanZhou -- Train
Day1 Train -- Lhasa
Day2 Lhasa -- Collect Potala ticket -- Sera -- Drepung
Day3 Lhasa -- Potala -- Johkang -- Barkhor
Day4 Lhasa -- Nyingtri
Day5 Nyingtri -- Pomi -- Midui glacier -- Rawok
Day6 Rawok -- Pomi -- Lunang -- Bayi
Day7 Bayi -- Darksum Tso -- Lhasa
Day8 Lhasa -- Nam Tso
Day9 Nam Tso -- Yangbajain -- Lhasa
Day10 Lhasa -- Yamdrok Tso -- Gyantse -- Shigatse
Day11 Shigatse -- Rongphu -- EBC
Day12 EBC -- Zhangmu
Day13 Zhangmu -- Khathmandu
10 days transport = RMB12800 (not included EBC car entrance fee RMB400 )
Permit & service charge = RMB400 per person
Guide = RMB200 per day (need to pay extra 2 days for the guide to go back to Lhasa from Zhangmu)
The quote includes petrol, food and accommodation of the driver & guide, the car is Toyota 4500.
It does not include transport to Lahsa, entrance fee, food, accommodation, transport to Khathmandu.
