Blog on Tibet from a traveller

Thanks for the intro. I look forward to reading more about your trip. I am going to Tibet for the first time this summer. Seems daunting now, I have doubts but realize carpe diem!

Interesting to note that due to Chinese government web censorship most international blog template sites are not accessible in Tibet unless using a proxy server service. (and most proxies require an ethernet connection - not wireless like most cafes) This is very frustrating for folks trying to maintain travel blogs while on the road in Tibet. Of course you can write it all up afterwards - but for me the whole idea behind blogging is to be update and current with your posts........

Many blog sites support email-to-blog (some even allow uploading photos by email), it's the best way to update blog while traveling (but you can't edit it afterwards until you get access to the blog sites again).
