Someone in Lhasa, could you please tell me in the Tibetan Deaf Sewing Workshop in still in business? They had wonderful products made by a handful of super sweet deaf Tibetans.
They are located in the same building as the Blind Massage (strange but true), just near the Barkor.
Thanks!

the signs for the sewing workshop are there still in the same building as the massage clinic, and the massage clinic is operational.. in a side alley off Beijing dong Lu about 2 alleyways down from the yak hotel , walking towards the potala. There is a sign on the wall of the alleyway for the massage clinic, and the building itself is just up a little opposite that sign in the alleyway.

Thank you for your reply, but I'm actually wondering if the workshop is still operational, or if the sign is all that remains. Thanks.

that I don't know, as I haven't gone into it before, but I saw the signs up on the walls as you go up the stairs to the massage clinic , and the massage clinic is still very open and working so I am presuming the sewing workshop might be as well. Did they sell their stuff also from a little shop on a side street going towards the lingkor, down near the gorkha hotel end , because I also saw a shop there a couple of months ago, selling items made by disabled people.
