Hello,
My wife and I are flying to Australia via Taiwan with our two 13 month old twin girls in November. We had thought about a week-long stop in Taiwan: a few days in Taipei, then down south to somewhere small-ish with good food and cultural sights. We don't really need beaches since we will be visiting Australia, but some nice coastlines or small mountain towns with reasonably priced hotels/guesthouses would be good.
We would likely be taking the train between places and probably taxis when we arrive.
Two questions: first, how much should we budget for accomodation, food, travel, etc. The hotels can be small and basic, but should be at least somewhat clean; and second, how difficult will it be to travel there with two infants who will likely have started walking? My wife and I have travelled in Asia, India, Africa, etc, so the main issues will revolve around the infants.
Thanks for any info you can provide.
