I am trying to go to Taiwan from Seoul in mid August. What is the cheapest place to find/book flights? I am getting flights of $450+ on the basic kayak search. Was hoping for more like $300...

If you find a flight operated by T'way or Eastar Jet in Skyscanner, let me know.

I use AirAsia, I've gotten some great deals from them before.

Air Asia doesn't have non-stop flights from Seoul to Taiwan. What route did you make? Seoul-Kuala Lumpur and a separate flight (and ticket) from Kuala Lumpur to Taipei?

I couldn't find a T'way Seoul--> Taiwan flight.

But scoot was definitely the cheapest....about $250 roundtrip!! Only problem is that flights are limited to Wednesdays and Sundays, it seems, which won't work on my limited vacation schedule.

Thus I'm thinking about the philippines instead. Although I don't want to be in rain the whole time....
