Hey Guys!
I'm planning a solo 2 week holiday to South Korea this year.
I just needs some names of Hotels specifically around Seoul where I can easily commute to many locations and famous landmarks (eg. Hongdae/Namsan Tower/Myeongdong/Insadong)
Preferably the hotel has to include breakfast.
I'm definitely here to explore landmarks and to shop around malls.
My price range is $1000-$1500 Australian dollars.
Cheers and G'Day from Australia
Does anyone have any views of Novaland tours? Apparantly they have branches all over Asia, including Japan, China, Vietnam etc. We're planning to take a tour of South Korea, tailor made by them, but we are a bit weary since we have to pay the full amount 30 days prior to the tour, before we've even arrived in the country. Any views and rewiews, primarily if there's any negative response to this operator? The positive feedback is overwhelming at their own website and according to trip advisor…
Hi, if I'm looking for snow in late Jan / early Feb, would I more likely to find it in Tokyo or Seoul ? Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Does anyone have suggestions of what to do in S Korea for 9/10 days, flying in and out of Seoul, bearing in mind the mean temperature is 0 Celsius?!
I would like to see enough of Seoul(food and night life), but not sure what else to do. I'm 25 yo male, travelling alone with a budget of $60-$80 a day.
Thanks,
Hi, generally speaking, am I right to say that the size of hotels in Japan are smaller than those in Seoul ? Thanks.
Greetings,
Is it fairly straightforward to purchase a ticket on one of the overnight ferries in mid-June? I'd rather take the ferry than fly as it seems to be a bit cheaper, saves travel time, and also accommodation costs.
Cheers.
Jon
Anyone been to most of the Folk Villages ?
I have a 3 weeks trip.
I have shortlisted Hahoe & Jeonju to visit.
Can anyone tell me how is Korean Folk Village(this is the only one I have visited), Andong(since I will pass by going to Hahoe) Yangdong, Nagan & Jeju ones compared to the two I have selected ?
What are their differences ?
Which do you think I should skip ? I think 4 or 5 maximum to visit is already too many ?
