Good day! Thanks for your help in advance!

I am planning a trip for both Busan as well as Jeju.

Planning to go Busan from 3Oct(morning) to 5 Oct from Seoul. Thus, since 3Oct is holiday, I was wondering how Busan would be like and what are the places I must visit? My friends told me that by then the famous Haeundae beach might be closed? Is it true? In addition, anything that I should get from Busan that cannot be found in any other parts of Korea or is the cheapest there?

Next, I am also…

Hi,

I just did some business today with a bunch of Koreans. Being that I am a traveler at heart (boy do I miss those days), traveling to South Korean ran through my mind today. Is South Korea not really on the beaten path or am I simply misinformed? I mean, it seems like travelers are flocking to China to see the Asian ‘rising star’, the grand cities versus the historical sites (the Great Wall, etc). It seems like tourists flock to Japan for its amazingly sophisticated culture, its nature,…

I am an exchange student in Seoul for the semester and a friend and I recently decided we had way to much free time on our hands. We have been trying to find some volunteer opportunities in Seoul that would be willing to take help from short term foreign students. We are attending school at Sogang University and if there was something near that would be ideal. Does anyone know of anything promising?

If you teach English in Busan, how do find out about discount airfare specials around Asia for holiday periods? Are there cheap deals from the Busan international airport? What are fares to HK and Phuket?

When are the winter holidays in Korea that teachers have off?

What is the typical winter temperature in Busan? Is it much warmer than Seoul?

How is the food? Are those of you who teach there happy?

Thanks.

I am a US citizen on an extended holiday in Australia. I am considering teaching in Korea. I have found a Korean recruiter in Australia who says there is an exception to this. A group called the United University Association of Korea…

I'll be in Korea with my gf for 10 days in dec/jan and don't want to lose a bunch of cash staying in hotels in Seoul, anyone know good places to camp in the winter? preferably away from people but still have access to water or a bus connection. I have the equipment already.
