Going to Seoul

Hey Im going to Seoul at the end of September and some of October. Im traveling solo but have a friend in Seoul and will be meeting up occationally, however, he works during the day. I was looking for someone to occationally go out and explore Seoul during the day with. Possibly go to some museums or hike. If anyone will be in Seoul Sept 29th to Oct 10th, let me know.

Hi All,

Am thinking of going to Busan early September:

What will the weather be like?

What is the grand hotel like?

What is the place like for a vegetarian? Will I be able to eat and will I be horrified?

Hello.... I am planning on arriving in South Korea and moving to Changwon outside of Busan to teach English for a year or two... I was hoping to get some advice in regards to banking in the country an bill paying in America... I would appreciate any information that you have.

Also wondering about travel between Busan and Changwon. I look forward to hearing from anyone that might be able to help thank you.

I know it's kind of a general question, but I was hoping to get some opinions on maybe what a descent amout of time to spend in South Korea would be. I have about 2 months total to work with & am flying into Japan, spending a few weeks there, & taking the ferry to Busan. I'll ultimately fly out of Seoul to another destination. I'm partly trying to decide on weather I want to really take a lot of time going thru Korea, or just see what I can within 2 weeks or so, & try to hit S. Western China &amp…

Hi

Has anybody hiked up to Cloud Bridge, Wolchulsan? If yes, could you tell me about it please. Details I am interested in are time, fitness level required, and any equipment I should take.

I should probably confess that I have never been hiking before, but I can't think of a better place to start!

Thanks for any help any one can give me,

Sam :)

Hi all,

I'll be visiting South Korea for a few weeks and plan to head over to Japan for a few days while I'm there. I have a UK passport.

Can anyone tell me what visas I'll need? I know I can enter Korea without having applied for one but how will that be affected by my trip to Japan? Will I have to apply for a multiple entry Korean visa before I get there? And will I need a visa for Japan at all?

I've had a look at the Korean Immigration website but it all seems a bit confusing.

Any…

Hello all,

I'm planning to get to Korea around October or November.

Would it be cold? Cold as in March?

I'ts my 2nd time and I've seen the DMZ already so i'll pass it in the coming trip.

I thought to stay few days in Seoul, maybe going down to Gjeong-Ju, Andong and Jejudo Island. Or perhaps visit Seorask again.

In my first trip, I've been to Seoul, Suncheon, Busan, GyeongJu, DMZ, Wunju, Seorask and Kangnung.

In this coming trip I would like to make my way to Jejudo Island..what are the…

6 hours in Seoul

We have about six hours between flights to spend in Seoul. What would you suggest seeing? Is there a place in the airport we can store out luggage? Do we need visas (US citizens) just for the day? Thank you very much

Hi all,

I'm looking at moving to Korea around February time of 2011. I have visited many times before, and love the culture and the landscapes.

My plan is to teach english there, as I am at present working on completing my TESOL with TEYL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Teaching English to Young Learners) . . . so by the time I go I will have a teaching qualification.

However, I do not have a degree as I stopped education after A-Levels at college. I have searched…
