Flying to Seoul in March 2011 and plan to stay there for a week and then holiday somewhere else for a week, somewhere hot outside of South Korea.

I'm flying from the UK so my initial though is to get a stopover with Emirates, but now I'm thinking what about a Pacific island like Guam direct from Seoul.

Can anyone suggest a good place to visit for a week of relaxation that is hot a maximum of 4 hours flight from Seoul. I'm not interested in Malaysia or Thailand - been there, done that.

So the…

Hi,
How do we go from the Seoul Airport arriving at 6.30 pm on Nov 1st., stay over night at the city and catch the bus(I think it is the Seoul East-Dong- Bus terminal) to get to the Seoraksan National Park the following morning? Could some one suggest a hotel that is convenient to get to from the airport as well as easy to go to the Bus terminal the next day?
We have already booked and will stay the Mt. Sorak Tourist Hotel for 3 nights, before returning to Seoul, and hope there is enough to do.

I'm looking for clean, urban and modern contemporary. And the best combination of urbanism, city planning, and parkscape/landscape. Then restaurants, cafes, and shopping with things to do. Serene yet hip nightlife.
Younger adult communities.

so far i've heard of Daegu, Busan, Suji, Bundang, Seoul. What are they like? Where else?

Does anyone know where one can buy insect repellent (with DEET) in Seoul? I've tried a bunch of outdoor shops, and a few pharmacies, but so far no luck.

I have an 11 hour layover return from HCMC, VN to the US at Incheon airport in Seoul. It has been a while since I did that trip and I have forgotten the procedures and routes that I need to take to pop into town.

1.) After landing, I need to store some luggage in lockers. I remember going into the terminal, storing my bag and somehow then getting to customs. What is the procedure now?

2.) I want to travel to Insa-dong, in reviewing my options, I think I have 3 different ones and need advice…

I was reading about the volunteer guides in Seoul. They show you around for free but you have to pay for their transport, site entrances, meals, etc.

I will be in Seoul for roughly 16 hours (arriving 02:40 and departing 18:50) and my main goal is to find good street foods and see some key sites.

I am sure the guide would be good for pointing out some major sites but was wondering if any would be useful for helping me find good street food? I am OK with skipping tourist sites all together if I…

Hi! Is there any direct way of getting from either Jeonju or Boseong to Gyeongju? Or is it necessary to go via Gwangju and Busan?

Also, does anyone know of a nice place to stay overnight in Boseong or Yulpo?

Thanks!

Now I am planning to travel my country. Is there any site to find friend who want to trip country side in Korea? I've found it' not easy to travel as a foreigner. That's why the sign and guide in country side is not enough to see around.
