Alright lads.

Just a quick question. My familly and I are spending three nights in Seoul and I was wondering what amount I should budget for. I've booked and paid for the hotel but was thinking that £100 (W161,000) cash per day would suffice for (cheap) meals, transport and general bumming around. We are two adults, two children and an enfant.

Kind regards, Cam

I am scheduled to have a 14 hour layover at Incheon in December and would like to visit the DMZ, and specifically, go to the MAC center so that I could technically go into North Korea as part of the trip. My research seems to suggest that the only tour which accomplishes this is the USO tour. Is that correct? If so, is it possible to get from Incheon to the USO tour start location. My flight is scheduled to arrive at 6 am and I am also not sure if that would afford me enough time to get to…

hello there,

I would be happy to know if there is a night bus from Gyeong Ju to Seoul.

I saw there is a bus that leave Gyeongju at 24:00 and i reckon it will arrive at Seoul around 5am, right?

i wonder if that info is correct.

Did anyone have a good opinion on hostels at Busan?

thanks.

Hello

I'm in South Korea from 14th November for a week. I'll spend a few days in Seoul but wouldn't mind 2 or 3 nights in a nice guesthouse, somewhere out of the way, with a few gentle walks and some nice scenery. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've searched the web but it seems most writers focus on Seoul so a little inside information would be really useful.

Many thanks.

Tom

I'd like a translation of "이거" - Babelfish translates it as "This thing" but appreciate if someone could verify and/or give more specifics or whether it has alternative meanings etc.

Thanks.

Many have asked what to do during a long connection at Incheon and I had the same question a couple of weeks ago, so I will post my experience.

Arrived at 4AM and immigration and customs were quick. Much of the airport is shut down at that time and limited bus service begins around 5 - 5:30. There are also some unscrupulous cab drivers, but the signs at the taxi stands list approximate fees and travel time to each area.

The closest was Dongincheon which is about 30 minutes away and 50,000…

Hi, a buddy and I are arriving in Seoul around 5pm on Sunday and have to catch a flight around 6am the next morning. Is it worth our while to go into downtown Seoul? Are we better off getting an airport hotel? How much would this cost? Should we just find a place to crash in the airport? Does anyone know about buying your way into an executive lounge at the airport? If so how much is this? What do you get? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Hi! I would like to temple stay in Haein-sa on weekday in November. I saw it price at around 30,000 ~ 50,000won for one night per person.

In Haein-sa website, cannot find the information about the reservation. I just can see in templestay.com is 100,000won.

How about the real situation for the price and how to make reservation?

Thanks!

Hey,

Me and my girlfriend are looking for a nice hotel to stay in in South Korea for one night. We want something a bit different and unusual, not just your standard hotel, hostel or love motel. It can be ANYWHERE in the country ... does anyone know of any where???????

Cheers Lewis
