Hi everyone.

I've tried researching this subject on the internet until my eyes are bleeding and so far have discovered that there are three overnight buses from Busan to Sokcho. However this information was in someone's blog and I therefore would like to know if it's true or still valid? We are travelling in a month or so and really need to know what transport is available bus-wise between the cities.

Any help or links to bus websites would be really appreciated. We don't want to fly…

Hello fellow travellers, soon I hope to be in Busan and I'm looking into a short 2 - 3 day trip by ferry to Japan. Any recommendations ? I've never been to Japan before, so this is my first impression. Any place within reasonable distance from the border (to be reached same day of my arrival in Japan) that has a nice Japanese atmosphere to it (and accomodation available) ? Any advize on how to get there and do I need to change money at the Japanese border ? Thanks for any reply.....

Hello there.

I was just wondering if anyone knows where to get English books in Seoul. Are there any major chains there like Kinokuniya? I'd like to buy some books there for my travels.

Thanks in advance!

I'm planning to be in South Korea, mainly Seoul, from July 31-August 6th. Anyone other singles traveling at that time? Looking to sight see and hang out with locals. Suggested itineraries? After that, I'll head to China

Hello,

I am planning to travel to Jeju Island come August and I have been having problems regarding finding the right ferries.

My plan is to go to Mokpo on the 7th and catch a ferry to Jeju. After four days on the island, I want to go to Yeosu on the 11th and visit the Expo. Sites like Korea Travel Tips and Visit Korea do contain ferry timetables but they seem contradictory and have no working links to any official websites of the ferry companies.

My best guess has been so far;

Mokpo --&gt…

SOUTH KOREA DECEMBER???
Going to South Korea for 6 days during December.
First part is decided ... Seoul for 3 days.

then....

Question: If you had the choice what ONE location, province / region would you go to for the other 3 days?

Yes I’d hire a car. Yes to Antiquities. Yes to History. Yes to Culture. Yes to Food.

So I will soon be making the move to South Korea to teach English for a year but I wanted to travel around SE Asia on the way. Only problem is I don't want to carry everything I need for a year around while backpacking for a couple of months.

Anyone know an affordable shipping company that will ship from Australia to Yeongam?

Surface shipping is fine because I'll be travelling while it's shipping. I already have a friend in Yeongam and think I will ship it to their address in case it arrives…

Hi there,

I will like to find out if anyone knows of the details of the ferry services from Jeju to Wando. I read on the internet that there is ferry service from Jeju to Wando and from Wando to Jeju but I can't seem to find more details on it. My Korean Language is rather non-existance so will be helpful if someone can help me out here.

Hi,
We'll have 5 days from our arrival to Incheon and the day we need to be in Seoul.
I've searched this branch for more info about Incheon but all I could find were topics about short layovers.
I know there are some islands around, with ferry connections, but what else?

Any suggestions what to do in the area? Or, should we spend those five days somewhere else in the country?
All suggestions appreciated.
