There's plenty of info online about what to do on a lay-over in Seoul. I was just wondering if being there mid-January made a difference. Something which is not worth visiting because it's too cold? Or, more likely, something which is worth visiting in January which may not be on at other times of the year.

Any suggestions welcome, I'm going to be in Seoul for about 36hrs. My interests are varied, old, new, quirky, eating, shopping, sightseeing.... I'm open for anything.
Cheers

Try to get a copy of the free Seoul Best 100.
Lots of good ideas.
Most obvious places include: the Palaces, the markets esp. Namdaemun, Namsan Park, Lotte world, Coex, etc
Quirky? Try the Owl Museum or the Gallery of Chicken Art. Then again... Maybe not
