I have a week or so in Seoul in late september and if its warm (I guess this is a big if?) I would really like to spend a few days on a beach if possible.
I just wanted a few days where I can go and chill out close to Seoul.

Not sure if this is a daft request, I just really want some relaxing time!

PS. my budget isnt massive so somewhere affordable is prefered.

Thanks!

Deokjeok Island has some very nice beaches. It's about an hour by fast boat from Incheon port, which is a 6,000 Won taxi ride from Dongincheon or Incheon subway stations at the end of line 1 (there are also buses, see here).

I just got back from Deokjeok a few days ago, after a great weekend there. There is good hiking on the island too.

Daecheon is quite nice too, although the last couple of days certainly haven't been beach weather.

It's gotten pretty chilly in the past couple of days, so you might end up rethinking this.

Anyhow, most beaches officially close the last day of August, and some Koreans may yell at you to get out of the water, even if it is warm . . . just fyi
