Quite a few places will be closed for Chuseok (Korean harvest solstice) this weekend, so if you want to visit a museum or something make sure it's open first. Good live music venues can be found in Hongdae, and (to a more Western extent) Itaewon.
For tourist openings/closings this holiday weekend, check out the "korea sparkling" website (English homepage).

Hello -)
What a coincidence! It will be holidays during 13th(Saturday) - 15th(Monday).
I'm somewhat sorry to hear your plan. But you don't need to be disappointed.
Korea, especially Seoul is one of the never-stop cities in the world.
And they already prepared for tourists like you. (Because this holidays motto is "happy together!" traditionally.) So you can easily find many traditional holidays fetival in Seoul and enjoy Korean traditional holidays food! But you can't feel the usual life in Korea. That's a trade-off, I think. (Maybe many shops and restaurants will be closed to enjoy their holidays. But big ones will stop just for a day(Sunday).
I just put some web-links for you. It will help you.
