This is going to sound like a strange question, but does anyone know if you can easily plug into the internet in south korean hotels with either wireless or hardwired internet? Do you need any special adatper?

What kind of power adapter do you need in South Korea?

Thanks very much!

Some hotels, and all above around W50,000 a night, will have in-room computers, though they are often riddled with spyware and viruses. I'm not sure if you can just plug into the wired connection without a password, nor if wireless is widespread.

PC-bangs (internet cafes) are everywhere, and run to about W1000 per hour.

Korea uses 220 V, 60 Hz and European-style plugs, so check your adaptor if it'll handle that.

internet access should not be a problem - ask. if not there are tons of PC Cafes. You will need an electrical plug adapter - not a power adapter - try any small hardware store or major department store

for the plug types.
My hotel had a free internet PC. I also used the coin operated internet PC at a major bus terminal.
