Hey everyone!

Going off my last post, i'm curious on motels / love motels in Seoul Korea.
Can these motels be considered a serious option to stay in for 2 weeks?
Although it may be used for other obvious reasons, has anyone ever legitimately stayed in one normally just like a hotel?
I know that motels can be really fancy, clean and have lots of amenities and services available (eg. flat screen TV, themed rooms etc) + cheaper than regular hotels for the same service or more.
Opinions and experiences please!

Cheers!

I have stayed a couple of times in love motels and found them pretty good, though I'm sure they vary. They do have very good facilities and one of them was quite new and pretty glamorous. I think $40 was the usual price for either one or two people.

Could you recommend me some locations?
$40 sounds amazing for a student solo traveller like me. anything lower than $100 which does the good job of what a hotel would do is pretty decent in my opinion.

I don't have the name of a motel in Seoul but you can stay in a hanok, a traditional Korean house, for about $50 a night. There are quite a few with rooms available to tourists in Angok, which is a very convenient area. I liked Seoul guesthouse, but there are many others with addresses in guide books. There is also a website, though I don't remember the address.

You can get a single at Mi House in Seoul for under $40, but this will depend on your specific dates.
Mi House
1233 Sungin-Dong, Jongno-Gu , Seoul, 110-550

I recommend checking out the Late Rooms website. I have used that before to easily find inexpensive motels in Korea.

The love hotels are great! Clean, generally with 2 computers and usually a spa bath! Good option, we stayed in them, for 2-3 days at a time and thoroughly enjoyed them, particularly the themed rooms.
