We are interested in visiting the Martial Arts Festival Chungju in October. Most likely we will be in Chungju on the last day of the festival. Unfortunately the program on the website www.martialarts.or.kr is in Korean only, there is very little information in english. Is anybody able to help me with the program on October 8th. Is there something like a closing ceremony? Do we need to book any tickets or is it possible to just walk up?

Are there buses from Cheongju Airport to Chungju? How long will it take?

Is it recommended to look for accomodation in advance during the Festival or should id be possible to find a cheap hostel/hotel anyway?

Thanks for any help!

Sambo, Russia 11:30~11:45
Dutch Martial Arts, The Nethelands 11:45~12:00

Bus schedule from Cheongju Airport to Chungju:
11:20, 15:20, 21:20 (70 min journey, 5700 Won)

There are urban bus routes (4xx) from Chungju Bus Terminal to Tan-Geum-Dae (location of the event) every half an hour or so, but taxi would be more reasonable time-wise.

Nothing to comment on the accomodation issue.
