Last Friday and Saturday, went to Maisan (Horse Ears Mt. in Jinan) and Byeonsan bando national park. From ilsan, took a bus to Jeonju, where is base to travel various areas in Jeollabuk-do (www.jeonju.go.kr). There're famous things in Jeonju like bibimbap and hanok. I stayed a Jjimjilbang in Jeonju, 7,000 won, clean and comfortable. It is in Seoshin-dong. I wanted Sparaqua (스파라쿠아), but it was under renovation, so went Total Bosuk Sauna Jjimjilbang (토탈 보석 사우나 찜질방). Makgeolri is also famous in Jeonju. There're several Makgeolri streets in Jeonju ; Samcheon-dong , Seoshin-dong, Pyeonghwa-dong, Gyeongwon-dong, Hyoja-dong

If you have a chance to visit Jeonju, please try Makgeolri at one of above streets. If you order a kettle of Makgeolri, several dishes are provided free of charge. The food was great and inexpensive.

Love me some makgeolri. Almost as good as soju with that odd cranberry/vinegar mixer they use.
