Is there really anything worth seeing on Jeju? LP is always exaggerating. Many things but nothing really special. Are the caves worth it (apart from being dank, damp and dark)? Easy to go around with car and driver or perhaps a tour? Suggestions are welcome. I am a bit of a jaded travel photographer but am there for business so want to take two days to go around but reading about the island I am not sure it is such a big deal.

Depends on your expectations - I don't know what LP says about it, but I love Jeju. I don't remember very well but I think caves weren't bad. There are also quite a few tourist attractions like Osulloc Museum next to a huge green tea plantation or Jeju folk village. Great sea view from Seopjikoji or Sungsan Ilchulbong. There's a trekking course all around the island called 'jeju olle' so if you like hiking you can walk some parts of it, or you can climb Mt Halla. I recommend you to visit U-do, an island 15 minutes ferry ride away from Jeju and it has a lovely coral beach and a clear blue sea.

I don't know about tours in Jeju but it's best to rent a car and drive around as the public transportation is quite poor.
