Hi all, in thinking about where to stay and talking with a friend, I've decided that Kangnam is probably the best place to stay in Seoul for a short sightseeing trip. I'm hoping to spend around US$100 a night (or less) for a nice hotel, is this doable? Any suggestions for a good hotel in the area?

Also, has anybody taken the ferry from Incheon to Tianjin (or the other way)? I'd really like to know more about this, thanks!

There are many hotels in Seoul charging from $24 to $70. Why would you want to pay $100? eg Guesthouse in Korea in Jongno Sam Ga, Crown Hotel Itaewon, YWCA in Jonggak, Seoul. (book in advance: it's about $57-80 & on the 8th floor from memory).

Note that the 'G' & 'K' in Korean, are interchangeable, & it's often spelt 'Gangnam'.
