Hello, im going to be in South Korea myself in November and need some tips about where to go??
I've got to go to Shin-Jeju island to meet up with a friend for a while at some point in the trip.
any help would be much appreciated

I actually wonder about the same matter. I will be there in November, not booked the flight yet, but from around the 10th and I will meet a friend but not for the whole time. So I have lot of time by my own...

There are allot of places you can go in Seoul area^^
Kyongbok Place, National Folklore Museum, Myeondong,Seoul Tower, Namdemun, Dongdaemun, Insadong and many more^^

Hi,
I recommend you venture down to Gyeongju at some point and stay for a few days. You can visit Bulguksa (a very beautiful temple) and the near by Seokguram grotto, Anapji pond and a lot of other beautiful places. Geyeongju was the ancient capital of Korea and has much history, it is also good for cycling.
As the previous poster states, you can do a lot of things in Seoul, I particularly recommend visiting Insadong, N Seoul Tower and one of the markets.
Other places to consider are Suwon, Busan, Soraksan National Park.
I hope that gives you a few ideas.
