Was there a non-refundable clause in the T&C when you booked? One cannot but wonder why they won't get you a refund when there's a 'Cancel Reservations' function right on top of their website. Have you talked to one of their sales rep. as well?

How is it that you label this as "cheap accommodation"? For Korea I don't consider it to be cheap.

But that seems to be beside the point, for if you really wanted to get a refund or accommodation moved to a different location I think you could.

Have you written to the corporate offices? Have you contacted Korea's official tourist organization? (They would hate to get the bad publicity.) I think with a bit of effort you can get your hotel changed or your money back.

If this is really legit then you are getting a bad deal and should do something about it. If you have made an effort and failed to get assistance, I would be interested in seeing a post detailing what you have done; perhaps some posters here can help suggest some alternatives.

Good luck!
