Hi all,
I'll be landing in Seoul at 9.45pm, so I guess by the time I leave the airport it will be around the 10.30/11.00pm mark.
I've got a room booked at the Lees Hotel (Yunjidong 200, Jongno-gu , Seoul). Just wondering how easy it is to get around Seoul at that time of the night, or if anyone can provide any advise on how to get to my destination at that time in the evening.

The buses witll still be running at that time (i think they finish at about 1). they are quick - you can ask at the booth which is the best bus, they will speak english. Not sure how near your hotel it will drop you - possibly there but otherwise cabs are cheap (although it would be handy to have a map preferably in Korean).

Get off at Jongno 4-ga stop and cover the rest on foot. (some 400 meters to the northeast)
Cheers for the great info guys. Just out of interest - are taxis in Seoul cheap?? Or is bus/train the easiest way to travel for a foreigner?
Taxi's are very cheap compared to New York or London or Tokyo. The base fare is 2,400 won (roughly 1.5 Euro or $2). If you can get an "International Taxi" (they are usually orange, as compared to the normal silver cabs), the drivers should speak English. Otherwise, most drivers would understand if you said a subway stop or major landmark. The subway is also very easy to navigate. Bus signs on the street are only in Korean, so you should find out which bus and which direction you're heading in before hopping on one. The announcements on the bus are usually in both English and Korean :)
