Its still a little early for ski season, but has anyone here been to Alps Ski Resort near Seoraksan?
Korea LP says it gets the heaviest snow falls of any resort and says it has spectacular scenery, but then glances over any other information.
I guess its not the biggest resort in South Korea, but I'd prefer beautiful scenery to a large number of slopes.
Does the resort have accomodations, can you rent snowboards as well?
Is it the best "getaway" ski resort?
Any better info. than what LP provides would be helpful.

I googled 'alps ski resort seoraksan' and this post was the first thing to come up.
Is Alps ski resort the best ski resort to go to if you are more interested in a scenic place to ski than a big resort?
Any other recommendations for ski resorts in South Korea? How about North Korea?

Find a Korean to phone them and get some info.
Yongpyong is the most famous, it narrowly missed getting the Winter Olympics on two occasions.
The LP Korea is quite poor. I met one of the authors actually. She was nice but it seems they run around checking facts and writing witty anecdotes, filling up their strict word counts with crap rather than stuff a traveller can actually use.
