Hi,
A colleague and I willbe spending the weekend in Korea part way though a business trip (6/7th Sept). I am looking for interesting ways to spend the weekend other than just the markets and DMZ. Does anyone have any suggestions for psuedo adventurous things to do over the weekend or know of any good English language outfitters? I have found a few Korea rafting companies but suspect that this may be the wrong time of year for good rafting. As we will be travelling on business we won't have hiking boots or outdoor gear with us so will need a tour or outfitter company that can rent us the required gear.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Jon.

I've heard good things about Adventure Korea's tours, but haven't actually been on one. They should be able to tell you about your options if they aren't running a tour that weekend.

Funny, as soon as I read the original post, I was going to suggest Adventure Korea as well! I've had friends who have gone with them and really enjoyed it. They seem to take care of everything for you.

Also there is a relatively new company for Climbing in Korea if you're interested in that.
