anyone know why flights out of UB via beijing are being held back, now for their 3rd day? its not the weather. and why citizens of china on those flights have been separated from other nationals?
any info appreciated.

anyone know how easy it is to get a mongolia visa in china (beijing?), how long valid for, cost, processing time? (i'm on an irish passport).

My wife and I will be travelling 1st Class on Train 4 from Irkutsk to UB and Train K24 from UB to Beijing.

This Mongolian Consulate is in french only and it hard for me to tell exactly what documents they want after running it through google translate. I am a Canadian passport holder. Can I apply for a VISA here?

The requirements are?
- Passeport original dont la validité est supérieure à 6 mois après la fin de séjour
- Formulaire de demande de visa, toutes les rubriques doivent être dûment remplies par le demandeur de visa
- Une photo
- Attestation de voyage ou le justificatif de domicile en France…
