Hi,
we are planning to visit Mongolia next July and August and we have to confrim our flight tickets within the end of this week.
the visa is for 30 days but we have only found flights after more than 30 days since our entering Mongolia.
Is it possible to extend our visa while in Ulan Batar? Where? How?
And, shall we be allowed to enter Mongolia with a 30 days visa and a return ticket exceding the 30 days?

I've read tha Golden Gobi Gh is cosy and well worth staying for some nights: does anybody of you have an email address of the Golden Gobi Gh?

Thanks,
Letizia

Most passport holders can easily extend their Mongolian visa in Ulan Bator.

Return ticket is not necessary to show on arrival. Lots of travelers arrive by train from Russia or China.

Try http://goldengobi.com for the guesthouse.

A couple I travelled with in Mongolia had stayed in the Golden Gobi and didn't have a good word to say about the place.

Mind you they didn't seem to have a good word to say about anything

Hey, I'm going to Mongolia this July as well, and I'm staying at Golden Gobi. Their email address is [golden_gobi@yahoo.com]

I was initially hoping to stay at UB Guesthouse, but they were already fully booked for July when I inquired many weeks ago.
