i would like to take a " trangia" - an alcohol burning portable stove- with me during my travelling in Mongolia. Who know if i can buy alcohol fuel for using it in Uliastay?

Hi Kiasma,
I don't know about Uliastay but you can buy methylated spirit in loads of shops in Ulaanbaatar. The easiest to find if you don't know your way around is Nomin State Department Store. They actually sell it by the checkouts in the supermarket downstairs.
I would expect it's available in Uliastay but I would definitely make sure to take some with me just in case.
