Greetings,

Will be traveling to Mongolia on the second week of September on my own. Looking to try and do Gobi and Khuvsgol in 10 days. Is that possible?

Will be staying at a guesthouse and looking to do it on a budget. If anyone's is interested in the same thing and sharing costs send me word.

Cheers,
Paula

Hey there,

I don't know if this is too late but... I will be leaving for a 10 day tour of the Gobi desert on Sept. 23. Looking for travel prtners as well to split costs ect... If this doesnt conflict with your plans let me know.

mongo: Thanx for the advice on the itinerary. I actually have 12 days but I think I'll need a couple of days to sit back and chill a bit. Mostly, I'm thinking there might possibly be delays and unforseen mishaps. Can't change the dates on my ticket so, I'm trying to play it safe.

matti: i'm afraid we will miss each other by about a week:( but i'll be sure to write it up on my blog: http://koreascalling.blogspot.com

Doing Khovsgul and Gobi in 10 days will be tough unless you fly to each in one direction.

Lunasiatica: Lake Therklin sounds like a good alternative. I'll definitely give it a look.

Thanks for the help all. Wish me happy travels. :)
