Mongolia: bikes on buses ?

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how easy it is to travel with a bicycle (in fact, two bicycles!) on Mongolian buses and minibuses (for example, to go from UlaanBataar to Khovsgol lake).

The local transportation can get quite packed. I've never seen a 'bus' in Mongolia. Usually see Russian vans that should fit 12, but somehow they fit 16-18 people in it. Bags are usually stuffed wherever they can fit or on top. You might be able to get them to tie em on the top.

Course, you could always bike to Erenhot and stay with nomads on the way! Depending on time of year, that would be AWESOME!
