Clematis, the more the merrier!

Sometimes TT becomes a bit of a playground. That's ok. If we were too serious all the time we'd disappear up our own whatsits.

And Peri is only pretending to be 'king of the castle'; he's just a big teddy bear, really. ;>)

Since I was the offending party (to the OP) I would like to end my involvement by suggesting that for a better understanding of the OP that one may google the OP's name (californiaflyingpig) and you will find links to posts of hers on TA.
She seems to have travelled a lot and there is one post about a free tour in Russie (July 2014) but nothing about Mongolia. A visit to an ancient city in the Middle East brought a photo of the bed in her hotel with a comment that it was better than the hotel she stayed at before.
Besides seeing colorful photos (which I don't miss on TT) the visit to her page once again reminded me why I want to be here (TT).
I do look forward to reading her review on the Mongolia tour...and the three posted reviews on TA would scarcely encourage anyone to trust them, nice website or no.
I, too, check out the New items category and if it is a simple question I reply. If it's posted in the Tech forum but I have access to the links for cell service, why not reply? If I see a post that upon examination is spam, I'll flag it for the mods...
There is another category and it's for posts which have been sitting around for a week and the mods hope someone will read them and help out. I've read through that list and in some cases the OP has posted in the wrong forum and I'll suggest they repost in the right forum...
someone posts in round the world but what they need to know is can they sleep in an airport in X....and I've got a link for that. I read just the beginnings of post about SEA and I can only begin to see how ignorant I am of this vital area of the world and how valuable the knowledge that others have and share with those who ask.
If you go to the New items link (far left) you'll see that there will be no forum category shown for the post. You have to open the post to see it...and by then, why not read it and see if you can help.
Sometimes I will reply with a suggestion that the OP provide more information as the question they've asked doesn't provide enough details. I know some forum regulars get tired of posts which are so nebulous....so if I ask the OP for more info...the OP can reply with more info or go away and not come back or reply they just want general info....but I will have started a conversation so other may find it easier to reply also---or to tell me I'm wrong about this or that...which I will admit to if presented with more accurate info.
But the OP will not have been ignored...seeing unanswered posts 7 days old kind of freaks me out...

Only 'offending' to the OP, SFgirl. I think the rest of us will have had some much-needed fun.
