Hi there!
My boyfriend and I will be arriving via the trans siberian railway to Ulaanbaatar from bejing around the 8th of June. We are desperate to do a horse trek, and hoping for a 10 day - 2 week one. I found a site called www.horsetrailsmongolia.com that looks pretty decent and best of al the price is right. It says 10 days for $950 ( I assume american dollars) Can anyone tell me if they have heard anything abour this company?

also, whats the deal with booking and paying from australia?
should I be paying for two people over the internet?
Should I ring them first?
My biggest faer is that we pay, and then its cancled or it turns out there is some loophole and we dont get to go. We are doing it on a budget as we are students, so if it all goes pear shaped we wont have enough money to do anything while we are there. I know thats one of the risks (and joys) or traveling but if anyone has any advice about how I can safeguard the transaction, and what I should be paying attention to when I book I would greatly appriciate it. In return I promise to give a detailed and fair review of the trek.

Thanks heaps,
Nephra

Don't pay until you reach UB.

Hi Nephra,

Have you already decided what you're going to do? I'm very interested in your review about this horse trek. I hope everything's turning out in a positive way.

Enjoy your journey!
