driver+guide pr tour to the Gobi

Hi all,

Just wondering what really is the difference between going on a tour or hiring 4wd & guide? Is it that food & accommodation isn't included in the latter? Its easy to find tours online but not so much driver/guide combination.

Also some people quote for driver plus guide plus cook, surely that can't be three people in a car!!! What are peoples experiences of this.

That's right. If you just hire 4wdguide that means you have pay for their foodaccommodation during the trip. We hired english-speaking driver with a jeep & paid for his expenses, which of course, was cheaper than having driver & guide or going on a tour. Try this man at: ganerdene_y@hotmail.com

No two different people, but both based in UB. Mr. Bold doesn't go on trips very often, just once or twice a year.
