Hi,
I will arrive in Tokyo in 2 weeks for a month and I would like to rent a motorbike there (between 250 and 750 cm3). Looks like all the website are only in japanese... I guess I will check the shops in Ueno. However has someone already rented a bike in Toyko? How much should I expect to pay for 2 weeks? If you have any tip, that would be great! Hi all... Hubby and I are hoping to get to Japan but as always air fares are going to hit the budget hard! We are in Australia, so if anyone has any clever ways of getting to Japan on the cheap... without compramising our dignity hehe.... All I can think of is swimming... but I think I'll get tired ;-)

We would happily go via another country, or method of transport , as long as the time taken isnt ridiculous in comparison if that makes sense?

Thanks in advance!

So, I've thought on staying in 3 - 4 cities and arranging day trips around them. They could be Tokyo, Kyoto and ... ? Since it's summer I find it nicest heading northward. We're interested mostly in historical places and landscape. Budget will…

I am planning to spend a short time (probably a week to ten days) in Japan in mid-August. I arrive in Osaka and then depart from Tokyo. I have already got a seven day rail pass. Any ideas on where to go?

Thanks in advance for your help.
