Hi all! We are going to Japan on December, and we are looking for a special workclass around Kansai or Aich area.
We are looking for something more than 1 or 2 hours of wheel or just painting with glaze, but something a bit more complex. Any idea of pottery towns or places specialiced in different ceramic techniques that we could contact with?

I've never done it, but making Bizen-yaki (my favourite type of Japanese pottery) is on my wish list. There are a number of workshops where you can do it, but I think you might have to research places that offer more than an 1 or 2 hour experience.
