Hi all, I'm planning on going to these 4 cities during my 9-day tour in Japan. I don't start heading to Kawaguchiko until the third day in Japan, so I essentially have about 7 days of moving around. Is there a rail pass to get to these cities? I've looked at the bus and rail passes for these and for me to get between each city, it would cost me roughly over $50 USD for one way each, even on an overnight bus from Kawaguchiko to Osaka. Is there a way to get around for cheaper without spending like 8 hours on the bus (with the exception of overnight)?

Thanks!

Are your returning from Hiroshima? Just staying there or are you returning to Tokyo? Or are you flying out of Kansai.

Rail passes are expensive, unless you are making a return trip they are not going to be worth it.

Oops, forgot to mention that Hiroshima is my last stop and I will be flying from out of there.

Well then no, you are probably out of luck for rail passes. You can try the local train, perhaps see if you are traveling in the window the Seishun18 pass is valid and buy one or two days of those.
