Sorry to start another topic, but does anyone know from when to when Obon in 2008 will exactly be?

The days which people go to visit the family graves are 12, 13 & 14, but some businesses will give their employees an entire week off, so if you toss in the weekends, you can expect from the 11th to the 18th to be pretty busy. According to the local news, the biggest crowds/heaviest traffic will be on the 11th and the 15th.

Hmm. This might vary a bit by region. I'm not contradicting Cocodrilo, but I've always heard obon described as being from the 13th to 15th of August. That's what our family practices.
